Tribute to David Berman

I'm honored to be among the poets and musicians paying tribute to David Berman this weekend at World Cafe Live. I got to see Berman read his poetry back in 2005, and saw the Silver Jews in 2006 or 2007. I had tickets to see Purple Mountains just days after the sad news of his death arrived. This was a really tragic loss felt deeply among my friends and community. I am glad that people are coming together here in Philly (and other places too) to celebrate the incredible work he created.
